Full job description

An exciting opportunity to join the growing team at Assetti Performance. We are looking for a creative, driven and highly organised Automotive Photographer & Videographer to take ownership of high-quality visual content across our vehicles, bespoke builds, products, services and marketing campaigns.

About Us

Assetti Performance is an automotive specialist offering premium vehicle sales, bespoke vehicle builds, styling and performance upgrades, Paint Protection Film (PPF), detailing and other automotive services and products.

Our work spans everything from premium and performance vehicles to complete custom builds, vehicle transformations, protection packages and aftermarket upgrades.

As Assetti Performance continues to grow, we are looking for someone who can help develop our visual identity and create engaging automotive content that showcases our vehicles, services and projects across digital, social and commercial platforms.

The Role

As our Automotive content creator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality creative content from concept through to final delivery.

You’ll work closely with the wider marketing and sales teams to plan, shoot, edit and publish content covering vehicles, customer builds, products, installations, behind-the-scenes activity and promotional campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, filming and editing professional automotive content both on location and in the studio.
  • Producing content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, websites, e-commerce, paid advertising, email campaigns, digital displays and events.
  • Capturing premium vehicle photography and videography for vehicle sales, PPF, completed builds and marketing campaigns.
  • Producing short-form social media content including Reels, TikToks, Shorts, cinematic edits and promotional videos.
  • Creating longer-form YouTube content including vehicle features, build showcases, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes videos and branded content.
  • Managing video projects from initial concept and pre-production through filming, directing, editing and final delivery.
  • Editing footage including cutting, colour grading, audio balancing, sound design, transitions and visual effects.
  • Producing motion graphics, animations, titles and branded video elements.
  • Selecting suitable music, sound effects and audio to enhance video content.
  • Creating static graphics and digital assets to support social media, websites, promotions and advertising campaigns.
  • Creating content around vehicle transformations, PPF installations, detailing, wheels, styling upgrades and performance modifications.
  • Maintaining a consistent and recognisable visual style across Assetti Performance content.
  • Organising and managing video, photography and design assets.
  • Keeping up to date with automotive content trends, social media formats and emerging creative techniques.
  • Helping develop new ideas that improve the quality, reach and engagement of Assetti Performance's digital content.

Person Specification

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong professional experience in videography and video editing, ideally with a portfolio demonstrating commercial or consumer-facing work.
  • A minimum of approximately 2 years' agency, in-house or freelance experience is preferable.
  • Excellent knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting and audio equipment.
  • Confidence operating professional video cameras, mirrorless cameras and DSLRs.
  • Strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, animation and visual effects.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator for digital design and supporting graphics.
  • Strong understanding of colour grading, lighting correction, sound design and video finishing.
  • Experience producing content specifically for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • The ability to understand different video formats, aspect ratios and creative requirements across digital platforms.
  • Strong creative instincts and the confidence to introduce new ideas rather than simply following existing formats.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of visual presentation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shoots, projects and deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved across the wider marketing operation.
  • A genuine passion for cars, automotive culture, vehicle customisation and performance vehicles is highly advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferable.

Previous experience working directly within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous, although we are equally interested in talented videographers, editors and designers from other consumer-focused industries who can demonstrate a strong portfolio and genuine enthusiasm for automotive content.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • The opportunity to work with premium, performance and modified vehicles on a daily basis.
  • A varied creative role covering videography, editing, photography, design and campaign production.
  • The opportunity to develop the visual direction and creative output of a growing automotive brand.
  • Access to a constant stream of new vehicles, bespoke builds, products and automotive projects to create content around.
  • Opportunities to attend automotive events, launches, shows and off-site shoots.
  • Ongoing opportunities to develop your skills across filming, editing, motion graphics, photography and digital marketing.
  • Opportunities for progression as Assetti Performance continues to grow.
  • A supportive, fast-paced environment where creative ideas are encouraged and you can take genuine ownership of your work.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about cars, videography, editing and visual storytelling, and wants the opportunity to create standout automotive content rather than simply producing repetitive corporate media.

If you’re creative, ambitious and want to help shape the visual identity of a growing automotive brand, we’d love to hear from you.
