Full job description

Videographer & Video Editor

Want to create content seen by hundreds of thousands of people across social, YouTube and even TV?

ITS is one of the UK's fastest-growing trade tools and equipment retailers, and our in-house creative and content team plays a huge part in that growth.

Our social channels have grown to an audience of hundreds of thousands, we work closely with some of the biggest tool brands in the world, and we're continuing to invest heavily in original video content.

We're now looking for a talented Videographer & Video Editor to help take that content to the next level.

This isn't a back-room editing role. You'll be involved throughout the creative process – developing ideas, getting behind the camera, capturing great footage and turning it into content people actually want to watch.

One day you might be creating a rapid-turnaround Reel or TikTok, the next filming a product launch with a global tool brand, producing a longer-form YouTube feature or working on content destined for TV.

What you'll be doing

  • Shooting and editing a huge variety of video content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, paid social and TV
  • Taking projects from initial idea and storyboard through to filming, editing and final delivery
  • Filming using professional camera, lighting and audio equipment
  • Creating engaging short-form content designed to grab attention quickly
  • Producing more polished long-form and brand-led video content
  • Working directly with some of the world's biggest tool and equipment brands
  • Collaborating with our wider Content, Design and Marketing teams
  • Helping generate and develop new creative ideas – not simply executing briefs
  • Playing a key role in developing the ITS visual style as our brand and audience continue to grow

What you'll bring

  • Strong professional video editing skills, on any professional standard editing suite
  • Experience shooting high-quality video using professional camera equipment
  • A confident understanding of lighting, composition and audio capture
  • A strong understanding of what makes video work across social platforms
  • The ability to create both fast, punchy short-form content and considered, polished longer-form work
  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating the quality and range of your work
  • Creativity, initiative and the confidence to contribute your own ideas
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy in-house creative environment

Desirable

  • Adobe After Effects / motion graphics experience
  • Adobe Photoshop experience
  • Photography experience
  • Experience creating content for retail, tools, construction, automotive or similar brands
  • Experience producing content specifically for various visual media
  • Comfortable appearing in front of the camera when required

Why ITS?

You'll be joining an ambitious in-house team with the freedom to create, experiment and make an impact.

You'll work on content for a major UK retailer, collaborate with globally recognised brands and have the opportunity to create everything from quick social videos to large-scale campaigns seen by huge audiences.

Join a brand that's building something big – and help us tell that story to an audience that's already listening.

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:45 - 17:00

This is an office based role at Head office.

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free parking
  • Health & wellbeing programme
  • On-site gym
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
