YachtBuyer is looking for a full-time Social Media Content Creator to join our industry-leading editorial team which produces all content for the YachtBuyer yacht comparison website and its associated social media platforms: YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and TikTok
You will have a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Social Media and Digital Marketing landscape – including content ideation & optimisation, publishing algorithms, building, and engaging communities, social listening, and reporting, planning and execution of socially-led campaigns.
Your thirst for knowledge ensures you understand the latest technologies impacting key global platforms and deliver results with a drive for testing and learning. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance to you, guaranteeing flawless execution of global and regional social activities.
Working within the editorial team, you will collaborate closely with all internal departments; creative, strategy, planning, marketing, design, development, project management, and production to formulate, brief, implement and deliver successful and leading-edge digital solutions.
Strategy
- Support the Head of Marketing to develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns that align with business goals.
- Analyse social media data and insights to track performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Help to build highly innovative and inherently social campaigns for all key projects, that are insight-led and resonate with our target audience & community, driving reach and engagement
- Find new and exciting ways to engage with our client's audiences in the social space
Create
- Develop social media ideations and creative concepts
- Create and curate engaging content for social media posts, including text, images, and videos
- Planning, implementing and executing social content shoots
- Write and proofread engaging copy with exceptional spelling and grammar.
- Liaise with other departments, brands and creatives to source compelling visuals.
- Supporting other communications activities
Engage
- Monitor & respond to social media channels for customer enquiries, comments, and feedback
- Cultivate and nurture relationships online, proactively engaging with relevant individuals, and groups to grow our community.
Report & Monitor
- Strong appetite to hit targets by monitoring performance regularly to understand the effectiveness of strategy and creativity, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Keeping track of all competitor brands and new products on the market
- Report KPIs to the Head of Marketing.
- Keeping up to date with social media trends, advancements and best practices and implementing as appropriate into monthly strategy

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a social media role, either for a company or significantly growing your own social media presence
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest and their respective audiences.
- Proven experience in the development and production of creative, engaging social content
- The ability to work with image & video editing software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut)
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Later
- Have an eye for aesthetic content that aligns with our brand
- Strong understanding of social media KPIs
- Have a test-and-learn mindset.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must
- Ability to interpret, prioritise and deliver actions with sharp attention to detail
- Have a love of brands and social media, and the desire to push boundaries and test new & exciting content opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
- You are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of strategies and campaigns.
- Native English or Advanced
- Expertise or at least a genuine interest in yachts!
