Junior Copywriter

If you have a passion for creating compelling content, and a desire to deliver an immediate impact then we want to hear from you. Grainger Motor Group are seeking a Content writer to create appealing, value building descriptions for our online retail advertising.

The role will focus primarily on ensuring our fourteen sites have up to date descriptions of our used car stock, across multiple advertising platforms, There will also be opportunity to work with our marketing department to create compelling content for our social media channels and websites, including bespoke and informative video content.

Working with a number of brands including; Nissan, Kia and MG, you will be responsible for maximising leads into the business from the content you create, and boosting GMG brand awareness. There will an abundance of opportunities for you to learn new skills, and build relationships across the group with sales management and buying teams.

Duties and responsibilities will include;

• Building high quality advert descriptions, working directly with sales managers to learn key features of our stock in order to create the highest quality adverts.
• Test edit and improve ads to drive increased response.
• Brainstorm with the team to create informative and educational content to assist our customers along the purchasing process, including EV cars.
• Identify gaps in our current content to improve and build upon,.
• Creating high quality marketing videos.

The successful candidates will have;

• A Level or equivalent in English Literature.
• Some experience in marketing, journalism or similar.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a customer focused engaging style.
• Articulate with an exceptional command of the English language, the confidence to create and narrate descriptive walk around video of motor vehicles, and a good understanding of digital marketing.
• The ability to multi task, organise your calendar and be a self-starter, proficient in Microsoft office Suit, google docs etc.
