Full-time Videographer / Video Editor Opportunity

Company: iMist Fire Suppression

Location: Kings Hill Office based - No Hybrid - Must be based within a commutable distance of the office in Kent.

Pay: £27-£30k

Expected Hours: 8-5


iMist Fire Suppression, a leading innovator in fire safety solutions, is seeking a passionate Junior Videographer / Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their video production skills while contributing to our mission of enhancing fire safety through innovative suppression systems.

Understanding iMist and how video can enhance our product and company is a key element to the role. Always thinking forward and outside the box to creatively grow our message will play a major part in the success of this role.

Someone who is very curious and willing to learn, also very keen to work as part of the Business Improvement Team to gain exposure with Marketing, IT, System Development and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

· Film and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, PMAX, Website.

· Please note this will require travelling England with our Installation and Servicing Engineers to capture content.

· Capture high-quality photographs to complement video projects.

· Develop concepts and storyboards in collaboration with the creative team.


· Operate video equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio gear / drone

· Ability to set up and breaking down equipment for shoots.


· Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos.

· Add graphics, effects, and transitions to enhance video quality.

· Ensure all video and photo content aligns with the brand's guidelines and objectives.

· Be able to produce multiple outputs from the same content.

· Self-manage and edit videos promptly.

· Ability to create animations – not essential but preferred.

· Ability to superimpose videos, i.e., where it may not be possible to capture a living room on fire, and our system activating, we would still like to be able to demonstrate it through the use of video content

Trend Awareness:

· Incorporate popular and relevant elements into video content by staying current with social media trends.

· Understanding of best performing content types for specific platforms.


· Work closely with our marketing executive to ensure cohesive content creation.

· Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas.

Skills and Requirements:

· Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Capcut).

· Experience with photography and video production techniques.

· Strong storytelling skills and a creative mindset.

· Excellent organisational and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

· Passion for creating engaging content.

· Knowledge of current social media trends and platform-specific features – not essential but preferred.

· Willingness and ability to travel as needed

· A strong curiosity to always think above and beyond with a creative mind.

· A good understanding of all things Tech
