Full job description

Role Purpose

The Videographer supports the transformation of Coda Octopus through new media and digitalisation. The role is responsible for developing high-quality visual content that strengthens the company’s marketing, sales, customer education, training and product communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute creative ideas and recommendations to management on the use of video, photography and digital media.
  • Develop clear, cohesive and engaging scripts for video content.
  • Plan, film and produce videos for:
  • Marketing and sales promotion
  • Product launches and demonstrations
  • Customer training and education
  • Product troubleshooting and technical support
  • Edit and package video content into professional, fully formed assets suitable for:
  • Direct customer use
  • The Coda Octopus website
  • Customer-facing technology channels
  • YouTube and other social media platforms
  • Create supporting content for product launches, including manuals, digital assets and soundbites.
  • Ensure all published content complies with the company’s branding, style and wider corporate standards.
  • Use Adobe Premiere for video editing and producing customer deliverables.
  • Use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit and enhance photography and produce compositions
  • Use Adobe After Effects to create 2D motion graphics, visual effects and other production enhancements.
  • Use Adobe Illustrator to create digital assets for videos and graphics.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant teams to ensure content is accurate, consistent and appropriate for its intended audience.

Expected Contribution

The Videographer will help present Coda Octopus, its technologies and its products in a clear, engaging and professional way, while improving the accessibility and consistency of content across customer and digital channels.
