Full job description

Social Media Executive

Location: Milton Keynes - office based
Salary: £28,000- £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time

Sharp with words? Quick with a comeback? Know how to get people talking - and keep them coming back?

We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to bring fresh ideas, personality and brilliant conversation to a music brand and a fragrance brand, with the potential to work across more upcoming brands as we grow.

One champions emerging music talent and connects artists with passionate fans. The other is a dupe fragrance brand with a rebellious streak and a wicked sense of humour.

From getting fans excited about an emerging artist to delivering a perfectly timed, cheeky fragrance reply, you’ll know how to read the room, find the right words and give each brand its own voice.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the day to day socials. Plan, schedule and publish posts, keeping our channels active, relevant and full of personality.
  • Write words that work. Create captions, posts and campaign copy that grab attention and give people something to respond to.
  • Get stuck into the conversation. Manage comments, DMs, mentions and tags with sharp, thoughtful replies that build relationships.
  • Bring the wit. Deliver cheeky observations, playful comebacks and a little mischief for our fragrance brand - with the judgement to know when someone needs a straight answer.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse. Spot trends, cultural moments and conversations our brands should be part of, and bring original ideas of your own.
  • Collaborate with our creative team. Help brief our videography team and shape content, campaigns and launches around what audiences care about.
  • Build our communities. Connect with fans, artists, creators and fragrance lovers, giving people a reason to follow and stick around.
  • Learn what lands. Monitor performance, report on results and use audience insights to improve engagement, reach and growth.

What you’ll bring

  • At least two years’ professional experience managing social media for businesses or brands, either in house or at an agency.
  • Hands on experience across the main platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X and LinkedIn. You understand how to adapt the approach for each.
  • Strong copywriting skills. You can switch between brand voices while keeping your writing natural, clear and engaging.
  • Community management experience. You’re comfortable handling everything from an enthusiastic fan comment to a customer complaint.
  • A sharp sense of humour and sound judgement. You know when to be playful, when to be helpful and when to bring in the wider team.
  • Organisation and initiative. You can manage content calendars, coordinate approvals and keep multiple accounts moving.
  • Confidence with analytics and scheduling tools. You can explain what’s working, what isn’t and what you’d try next.
  • Examples of your impact. Show us how you’ve grown an audience, improved engagement, delivered a campaign or built an active community.

Why join us?

Two distinctive brands. Plenty to say. Room to make your mark.

You’ll join a small startup team where your ideas can quickly become something people see, share and respond to. You’ll work closely with the people behind the brands and help shape their personalities online.

As more brands launch, there’s potential to broaden your experience and grow with the business.

This is an office based role in Milton Keynes, working alongside the team to keep ideas and conversations moving.
