A commercial hub for so much of what makes The Newt special, our multi-channel retail arm (instore and online) is anchored in the passion and provenance that lies at the heart of our estate. Aimed at discerning customers who prize taste, quality and integrity of production above all else, we deliver our grocery goods nationwide with care and convenience.
The Newt's proposition is based around the traditional Somerset food production practiced at the estate. Livestock and arable farming, market gardening, apple growing and cyder making, baking, butchery and cheesemaking are all supported by wares from our sister estate in sunnier climes. In everything we make, our commitment to sustainable production underpins our endeavours – from high welfare animal husbandry and regenerative agriculture to ethical packaging and short supply chains.
Our purpose lies in giving our retail customers a taste of The Newt in their own homes, offering them a virtual experience that conveys the unique quality, provenance and exclusivity of our estate. Through every item we sell, we aim to leverage the unique feel and promise of our estate, distilling the expertise, passion and attention to detail of our artisan producers into products that give us credibility and longevity in the luxury grocery market.
