Location: Squerryes Vineyards, Pilgrims Way, Westerham, Kent TN16 2 DT
Contract: Temporary seasonal work
Start date: TBC (likely third week of September)
End date: TBC (likely first week of October)
Hours: 7:30am to 5pm, with flexibility required, as days may be longer or shorter depending on picking volume.
Pay: £13.00 p/h
We are looking for reliable and hardworking seasonal grape harvest workers to join our vineyard team during the harvest period. This is a hands-on outdoor role, ideal for people who enjoy practical work, working as part of a team, and being involved in the production of high-quality grapes.
What You’ll Do
- Hand-pick grapes carefully and place them into buckets or crates.
- Sort grapes to remove damaged, overripe, or unsuitable fruit.
- Carry or move filled containers as directed by the vineyard supervisor.
- Follow harvesting, quality, and health and safety instructions.
- Work efficiently as part of a friendly vineyard team.
- Help with basic clean-up and equipment preparation at the end of the day.
What We’re Looking For
- No previous vineyard experience required — full guidance will be provided.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the agreed harvest dates.
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Physically able to bend, stand, walk, and lift during the working day.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Own transport required as the vineyards are in a rural location.
