Where will you be working?

At M Group Rail & Aviation, we’re dedicated to ensuring the safe, efficient, and seamless movement of people and goods across some of the most vital transportation sectors in the UK rail, aviation, defence, and adjacent markets. Our expertise spans these industries, where we maintain, and upgrade critical infrastructure - leading the way in shaping the future of transport.

You'll be working within a central support function that plays a vital role in the smooth running of the business. From supporting month-end financial activities and maintaining accurate costing information to coordinating workloads and resolving payroll queries, you'll help ensure processes are delivered efficiently while supporting excellent service levels across the team.

Please Note: This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

What will you be doing?

  • Monitor and maintain accurate project costing data to support effective financial control and reporting
  • Coordinate the collection and processing of allocation information, ensuring all operational costs are correctly allocated to projects
  • Administer weekly timesheet and timecard processes for weekly-paid employees
  • Manage the storage and organisation of project documentation within SharePoint, ensuring records remain accurate, accessible, and audit-ready

What you’ll bring

  • No prior experience required – full training and support will be provided
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of documentation in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines
