About us

P.E. Logan Ltd. is a family run business in London SE10 9EQ. We are social and data-driven organisation with particular focus on our local neighbourhood and improving the health and well-being of our patients.

Our pharmacy is a vaccination centre offering flu COVID and RSV vaccination to protect our local community. As part of our preparations for the autumn vaccination programme we are looking for clinical staff and vaccinators and staff to support our service offering.

These roles will include the following:

  • Set up of the vaccination station and regular cleaning sanitation.
  • Clinical screening of patient to ensure safe and effective vaccination (clinical staff only)
  • Gaining informed consent from patient (or their representative) prior to vaccination administration
  • Patient centred consultation ensuring all needs of the patient are taken into account (such as ethnicity, language barriers, disability etc.)
  • Administration of the vaccine under the PGD/protocol.
  • Consultation of the patient with expected side effects, site aftercare safety-netting
  • Safe handling of clinical waste and change of PPE as per national guidelines.
  • Adherence to infection control practices between individuals.
  • Efficient working practices allowing safe and accurate work under pressure without sacrificing patient care
  • Effective use of record keeping software systems

In order to be considered for the role you will be asked to provide the following information:

o Full CV
o Reference from your most recent employer
o Complete and Enhanced DBS (we will pay for this and organise it for you if necessary)
o Occupational Health (including proof of all Immunisations – we can also assist you with these requirements)
o Evidence of Right to Work and proof of address/identification documentation

We will require you to have undertaken the all training listed and be able to demonstrate the required competencies to act as an NHS vaccinator (as listed in the NHS COVID vaccinator competency assessment tool - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-vaccinator-competency-assessment-tool) prior to commencing these roles.
