Imperial College Healthcare (ICHT) NHS Trust wishes to recruit a research fellow in Early Pregnancy Care at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. This is a post in a busy tertiary unit serving a diverse and complex population and will be available from October 2025. This post is mainly research based, with projects focussing on early pregnancy, and gynaecological ultrasonography. Clinically they will also aid the unit as part of the on call rota at registrar level (depending on individual clinical experience). There will be ad hoc daytime cover required, though where possible this will be focussed on the Research Fellow’s area of clinical and research interest and where possible will not interfere with the candidates research commitments. The early pregnancy unit is nationally and internationally known, and sees over 6000 referral each year and acts as a tertiary service for complex early pregnancy problems as well as dealing with acute gynaecology. The same service runs specialist clinics for possible ovarian pathology and rapid access clinics for women with possible gynaecological malignancy. It is expected that the research will contribute towards a qualification of higher education (MD/PhD) at Imperial College London . The candidate is responsible for higher degree registration fees however a discount is applied for Trust staff (please access current information on this)'.
