Full job description

The Farmers Arms is looking for experienced waitstaff to join our team. Our goal is to engage our guests in a warm and inviting experience through our friendly and professional service. We have a beautifully renovated pub, with an amazing staff, and we need to add more confident team members.

Our food ethos is local, foraged, fresh and sustainable. Everything made in house or supplied by quality vendors who help to support our community. Our own farm supplies meat and produce.

Job Duties:

  • the daily set up and break down of front of house
  • excellent customer service and communication with guests
  • learn both our Pub Menu and Birch Farm Tasting Menu, along with the ingredients and story behind our dishes
  • work well in a team environment, with a good attitude and a willingness to learn
  • ability to work evenings and weekend required

Skill Requirements:

  • excellent communication skills, with both guests and staff
  • an interest in food and beverage
  • A minimum of 6 months front of house experience, otherwise onsite training can be provided in a Food Runner position
  • you must have your own reliable transportation, as there is limited public transportation to the area

Employment Package:

  • Up to £13.35 per hour, depending on experience
