Job Title: Server / Waiting Staff
Location: Lucia

At Lucia, we believe outstanding hospitality is all about making every guest feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and cared for. We're looking for passionate, personable, and guest-focused Servers who love creating memorable dining experiences and take pride in delivering exceptional service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Deliver attentive, friendly, and personalised service throughout the dining experience.
  • Build a thorough knowledge of our food and drinks menus to confidently make recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure they are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve any concerns quickly, professionally, and with genuine care.
  • Create memorable experiences that encourage guests to return and recommend Lucia to others.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, seamless service.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting dining environment at all times.
  • Uphold Lucia's high standards of hospitality, presentation, and service.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for looking after people and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • A naturally friendly, positive, and engaging personality.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with a wide variety of guests.
  • The ability to stay calm, organised, and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who supports colleagues to ensure every guest receives outstanding service.
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential—attitude and personality are just as important as experience.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
