Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Prior hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using established procedures
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any needs promptly
  • Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables and side stations
  • Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when needed
  • Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a friendly, customer-focused attitude is key
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
  • Strong guest service skills with a professional demeanour

  • Kitchen experience or culinary training can be beneficial but not mandatory
