Full job description

A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing exceptional customer service. They create a welcoming environment for customers, maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, and ensure all food and beverage products meet company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Greet customers, take orders, process payments, and provide friendly, efficient service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the coffee bar, dining area, and equipment.
  • Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and notify management of shortages.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve light food items as required.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and cleaning tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
