Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu

- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately

- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on their needs throughout their dining experience

- Upsell additional items or specials to increase sales

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

- Assist with food preparation as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly

- Process guest payments accurately using POS system

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting

- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
