Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring high standards of culinary quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area throughout service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods.
  • Excellent guest services skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
  • A passion for culinary arts and hospitality is highly valued.
