Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / food sever to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender/ server, you will be responsible for serving food and drink to our tables, providing excellent service, and ensuring that our patrons have a memorable time in our establishment. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to provide seamless service during busy periods.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by being attentive to customer needs and responding promptly to requests for help.
  • Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Skills

  • Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong basic maths skills for handling cash and making change accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to bar operations.
  • Good time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
