Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our team.

We have a few roles available

25 hours a week

20 hours a week

40 hours a week

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and educational development of young children.

Duties

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the developmental needs of each child.
  • Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe and organised environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
  • Drive initiatives that promote children's learning through play and exploration.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Support children in their social interactions, encouraging positive behaviour and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for promoting children's learning through creative play and structured activities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
