Warehouse Operative / Order Picker – Late Shift

Carron Lodge Cheese – Inglewhite, PR3 2LN

Carron Lodge is a proud family-run business specialising in the production, wholesale and distribution of British and continental cheeses and fine foods. We are passionate about building strong relationships with our customers and suppliers and delivering exceptional service every day.

We are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers to join our team in our chilled warehouse.

Important: Due to our rural location, your own transport is essential. Please check you can reliably commute to Carron Lodge Cheese, Park Head Farm, Inglewhite, PR3 2LN before applying.

Pay & Benefits

  • £13.05 per hour (age 19+)

17–18 years paid at a reduced rate

Working Hours

5 days per week (additional hours may be required during busy periods)

  • Monday to Saturday with one named day off, with 8am start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and preparing cheese and dairy products for nationwide delivery
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Stock rotation and stock control
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Good physical fitness (regular manual handling and lifting required)
  • Basic computer literacy for stock systems
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken)
  • Reliable, hardworking and flexible, with willingness to work additional hours when required
