Full job description

Warehouse Operative with FLT license and counterbalance and a car licence is essential.

S.T. Murphy Transport are looking for a warehouse operative for our Blackburn transport and warehouse company. We offer 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, Uniform and PPE provided as well as Company pension scheme. It is a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate with an immediate start.

Hours are Monday to Friday 0800-1700 with regular overtime and the occasional Saturday morning required during busy periods.

Duties:

  • Goods In and Goods Out.
  • Accepting and processing deliveries.
  • Stock records of equipment and components.
  • Packing orders for delivery.
  • Operating equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is up to date and filed accordingly.
  • Operating FLT counterbalance.

Person spec

  • Reach truck licence would be an advantage.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work situations and conditions.
