Onsite Recruitment Consultant

Location: Minworth, Birmingham

Salary: £30,000 per annum basic + Performance Bonus

Shift: Monday-Friday, 06:30-15:00 (30-minute lunch)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team. You will be based at our client's premises in Minworth, where you will be responsible for managing a workforce consisting of warehouse operatives, forklift drivers and other industrial staff. You will also support the wider business with additional automotive and transport recruitment requirements as needed.

This position is ideal for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who is confident managing a range of bookings, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

The Role:

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for filling all onsite bookings, as well as a range of other automotive and transport vacancies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilising job boards, social media platforms and internal systems to source suitable candidates
• Screening candidates and conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews
• Coordinating interviews, inductions and candidate starts
• Developing new business through telephone and face-to-face sales activities
• Building new client relationships while maintaining existing accounts
• Following up leads and identifying new business opportunities
• Supporting other Recruitment Consultants where required
• Completing general recruitment administration
• Occasionally travelling to client sites for meetings and site visits

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within the automotive or transport & logistics sectors
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
