Full job description

A M Norris Limited are one of the Midlands largest Plumbing & Heating Contractors. Our main line of work being installations for large National House Builders. We also install for smaller local contractors and private customers.

We are currently recruiting for a FULL-TIME WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT & ADMINISTRATOR to join our team based in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Administrative duties, raising orders, updating spreadsheets and company logs
  • Stock management, including order replenishment and returns
  • Managing delivery vehicles and drivers.
  • Maintaining vehicles and equipment.
  • Organising the warehouse and general cleaning
  • Fulfilment of orders: picking and packing
  • Liaising with Plumbers Merchants and plumbers
  • General maintenance of building and grounds
  • Implementing the company health and safety procedures.
  • Assisting with goods-in as required
  • Managing our returns procedure for faulty goods
  • Occasional delivery driving may be required, so a clean driving license is essential

Attributes:

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel is essential
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment
  • A reliable team player with good timekeeping
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, committed, highly organised and efficient.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg
  • Knowledge & experience of working in a warehouse would be beneficial
  • Prior experience in Plumbing & Heating is desirable, however, not essential
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Forklift Experience Required
