Full job description

We are looking for a meticulous, detail-focused individual to join our team in a full-time, long-term position.

You will play a key role in preparing artwork for print, printing on wide format HP printers, laminating and cutting printed graphics, and maintaining all printing and finishing equipment.

This role is based in our production facility in Willenhall, and it requires consistent focus and attention to detail. There is an opportunity for career progression based on performance.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Set up artwork for print in Adobe Illustrator.

- Convert graphics to vector format as required.

- Read email threads to fully understand customer requirements.

- Follow brand guidelines and customer specifications.

- Pay close attention to small details such as colours, text, sizing, alignment, positioning.

- Email customers if there are any issues with the artwork.

- Ensure that the final artwork meets customer requirements before sending to print.

- Print artwork on wide format HP printer.

- Laminate printed vinyl graphics.

- Trim and weed vinyl graphics (training provided).

- Apply vinyl graphics to plastic materials (training provided).

- Order materials, inks and consumables as required.

- Regularly clean and maintain equipment such as wide format HP printers, cutters and laminators.

- Contact suppliers in case of any issues with equipment.

- Keep the production area clean, organised and tidy.

- Take photos and videos of finished products when required.

- Data entry using Excel or Google Sheets.

- Assist other team members with checking and packaging orders when required.

- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving stock, loading and unloading when required.

Experience required

- Experience with Adobe Illustrator (required).

- Experience with printing graphics on wide format printers (required).

- Experience with laminating and cutting vinyl graphics (preferred but not required).

What we offer

- £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, based on skillset and experience.

- 7.5 hours per day (Monday - Friday, 7.30am to 3.30pm).

- A performance bonus is available.
