Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Driver with current CPC-Tachograph card / Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe management of goods within the warehouse. This is a hands on role that requires a proactive approach and a willingness to help with various tasks to ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for deliveries and collections to and from construction sites across the UK including dismantling / palletising and loading of goods to be returned back to our Warehouse. We operate 7.5T Iveco daily curtainsiders hence the CPC requirement.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Loading & unloading incoming & outgoing deliveries.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and organisation of products within the warehouse.
  • Picking materials for customers orders.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment in compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Safely & efficiently transport goods to designated locations within an assigned area.
  • Handle & deliver / collect products accurately, maintaining their quality & condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a positive & professional manner.
  • Plan & execute efficient routes, utilizing GPS and route optimization software
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations and company safety standards.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness & the ability to lift and move heavy objects (max 25kgs)
  • Strong organisational & time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of construction materials is beneficial.
  • A reliable & hardworking attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • A Valid forklift truck license
  • A full clean UK driving license
  • Confident in securing loads & towing a trailer.
  • CSCS card (desirable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
