Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse by ensuring that all tasks related to food products handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving are carried out effectively. This position requires a proactive individual and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring safe handling at all times.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials as required.
  • Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations as long with BRC procedures.
  • Utilise a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
  • Assist in picking & packing orders accurately for dispatch.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies in inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping & receiving of goods.
  • Perform basic mechanical maintenance on equipment as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving food products handling.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  • Experience with Mintsoft systems is beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity with stocking procedures and inventory management practices is advantageous.
  • A valid forklift licence
