Job Description: Are you passionate about warehousing and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Cullompton site. In this role, you will be using Counterbalance and Reach trucks to pick and dispatch goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use of Counterbalance and Reach trucks to support warehouse operations (training will be provided).
  • Operate warehouse systems and handheld scanners to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers get the right products, on time.
  • Handle all goods with care and precision, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the process.
  • Replenish stock and consolidate inventory to keep our warehouse organised and ready for demand.
  • Support general warehouse tasks, including pallet wrapping, labelling, and preparing goods for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working order.
  • Complete essential paperwork and follow warehouse procedures, reporting any issues or defects promptly to help us continuously improve.

Requirements:

  • Holding a current Counterbalance forklift licence is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills - You'll be working closely with others, so being able to share information clearly and collaborate effectively is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail - Accuracy matters in every part of the process, from picking and packing to paperwork.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - You'll be on your feet and busy, so energy and adaptability are key.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills - You'll need to read instructions, complete documentation, and handle stock counts confidently.
  • Self-motivated and proactive - Whether working independently or as part of a team, you'll take initiative and get the job done.
