Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Returns & Warehouse Assistant to join our growing e-commerce team based in Embsay, Skipton. This full-time role plays a key part in delivering our customer service-focused approach by ensuring all returns and refunds are processed quickly, accurately, and professionally across multiple online marketplaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling returns efficiently while maintaining accurate stock figures and an organised warehouse environment. Alongside returns processing, the role will include stock counting and warehouse duties as part of the wider operations team. Due to our location & nature of the role, the ability to drive is essential. The role will involve commuting to Embsay as well as daily stock movement between Embsay and Skipton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer returns and refunds across multiple online marketplaces and sales platforms
  • Daily stock runs between our office and warehouse locations.
  • Ensure on time drop off of some orders to specific local depots
  • Ensure refunds are completed accurately and within required timeframes
  • Maintain excellent organisation and attention to detail when handling returned items
  • Support our customer-first approach by helping resolve returns smoothly and efficiently
  • Update internal systems and records accurately
  • Carry out regular stock takes and inventory checks
  • Assist with any warehouse duties and general operational tasks
  • Keep the returns and relevant warehouse areas clean, organised, and efficient
  • Work closely with customer service and warehouse teams

Essential Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using online systems
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help across different areas of the business

Preferred Skills (but not essential)
