Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-developing and expanding market-leading organisation.

Shift Pattern: Continental Days, 12 Hour shifts
Hourly Rate: £15.75 per hour

Role Overview

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of materials and finished goods within the warehouse, while ensuring strict compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality and Food Safety procedures.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Controlling the dispatch of finished product to customers, including direct shipments and transfers to third-party warehouses.
· Unloading deliveries in line with schedules, receiving, checking and storing products while following required food safety procedures.
· Receiving raw materials from suppliers and transferring them to production as required.
· Checking products for damage, missing items and overall condition, including delivery vehicle checks in line with QA guidelines.
· Maintaining correct storage conditions, including checks for damage, shelf life, temperature and other control factors.
· Following Environmental, Health and Safety policies and safe operating procedures at all times.
· Operating equipment and vehicles safely and in line with company Health and Safety procedures.
· Following Technical and Quality policies, contributing to the site’s food safety and quality culture, and maintaining high GMP standards.
· Supporting stock checks and stock inventory control.
· Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
· Supporting the training of new starters in line with provided training materials.
· Carrying out any other duties as required.

Role Requirements

· Forklift licence required.
· Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
