Full training in each area will be received in line with our standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records using AvSight, our ERP software, to track all inbound and outbound goods.
  • Order Fulfilment: Pick items from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders, carefully packaging them for dispatch and preparing all necessary shipping documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, identifying and reporting any issues.
  • Liaise effectively with customers, vendors, freight forwarders and courier companies as required.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain the warehouse environment to ensure it is safe and organised.

In addition, all employees are expected to

  • Participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
  • Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Data Protection and all those contained in Employee Policies and Procedures.
  • Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are reasonable and appropriate to the job.

Skills, Experience & Qualities

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: Experience in a warehouse, logistics, stores or distribution environment is preferred.
  • Aviation/Aerospace Experience: Experience within the aviation/aerospace or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.
  • Dangerous Goods Knowledge: Familiarity with Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA, ICAO, ADR or similar) is desirable. Current or previous Dangerous Goods certification would be advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: Essential for inspecting goods, checking paperwork, and maintaining accurate inventory.
  • Organisation: Needed to systematically sort and store items, and to maintain organised records and work areas.
  • Physical Fitness: The role involves manual handling, including lifting, bending, stretching, and stooping, requiring moderate physical fitness and good mobility.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve business targets.
