Our company collects clinical, offensive, medical & washroom waste and provides hygiene services all over the North of England, Midlands and Northern Wales. We are looking for a permanent, full time, ADR driver to join our expanding team.

Job description

Hazardous Waste Operative/Driver based in or around Bradford covering Yorkshire.

Hours per week and Shift times: Monday to Friday 5.30am - 1.30pm (some flexibility required)

45 Hours Per week, overtime available.

Rate: £13.00 per hour (£13.70 following completion of probation period) all overtime paid.

Description:

  • Collecting waste from Nursing Homes, Nurseries, Dentists, Doctors, etc.
  • Collecting healthcare hazardous waste.
  • Servicing washroom equipment by replacing air freshener refills, batteries, vending machine products, urinal mats, and removing sanitary waste.
  • Input collection and deliveries on an I-Pad.
  • A company van and fuel card are provided.
  • A DBS check is required and will be paid for by the employer.
  • 28 days holiday per year including bank Holidays.

Requirements:

  • Able to hand ball items on and off vehicles
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Able to use your own initiative
  • Trustworthy
  • Full clean driving license
  • Experience of working in a similar industry is an advantage
  • Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vehicles (or similar)
  • Must be a confident user of technology, specifically iPads
