Full job description

Stambridge Group are a rapidly expanding company with national sites, supplying security and cleaning services.

There are currently vacancies for grounds maintenance operatives working within a retail environment. The role can be physically demanding so fitness and wellbeing will be a strong consideration.

The applicants will have the determination, and valuable skills required, to ensure our hygiene standards are met in line with site guidelines. The applicants will have a flexible approach to teamwork.

Main Duties

  • Complete the daily shift plan in the agreed time scales, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with Stambridge Group and the clients expectations.
  • Complete performance monitoring logs, to achieve and maintain the sites own standards.
  • Undertake general cleaning and other related domestic tasks to a high standard, within designated areas and managing own task schedules.
  • Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the site waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
  • Removal of rubbish to designated collection points.
  • To report stock control and equipment / kit shortfalls.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

Hours & Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off, Monday - Saturday 0700-1200 (1 hour unpaid lunch) then 1300-1700, Sunday 0930-1630

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour
