About our Company:

Lili Waste Services Ltd is a dynamic privately owned waste collection company. We currently operate in Kent, London, Hampshire, Yorkshire and South Wales.

With a fleet of modern vehicles we offer a first class customer experience with a get it right first time ethos.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.

Department/Location: Operations – Paddock Wood

Working Hours: This is a delivery driver role. You may be required to work a variety of shifts between Monday to Friday (including bank holidays) 10hr daily shift (including 1 hour paid break)

Overall Role:

To drive the company’s vehicles in a professional and competent manner and be courteous to other road users at all times, this is a driver only operation. You will be delivering and collecting waste containers to planned locations across Kent London and Essex and moving multiple commercial waste containers, ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily. To liaise with the operational management to ensure the most cost-effective utilisation/operation of all Company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the implementation of the Lili Waste Health and Safety policy in all vehicle/fleet-related activities.

You will be responsible for ensuring all vehicle checks are undertaken within the company policies and procedures. This will include daily walk around checks, vehicle defect reporting and Nil defect returns.

You will be responsible for driving and operating company vehicles within an appropriate manner which includes safe and secure loading practices, safe driving and drive within the Highway Code and current UK speed limits.

Keeping vehicles clean and tidy at all times.

Ensuring all waste containers delivered are cleaned and in a good state of repair, labelled correctly and clean.

Maintaining and organising bin stock within the yard to ensure adequate stock for upcoming deliveries.

Dealing with Customers in a professional manner.

You will be expected to report any incidents or accidents however small immediately or as a minimum at the earliest convenience to the Operation’s Team.

Debriefing with the operations team daily to go through any job issues and the following days work.

You will be expected to attend any training in-line with the role.

Person Specification:

Must have appropriate driving licence indicating entitlement for the class of vehicle you are expected to drive.

Preferably waste industry experience.

Must be a team player.

Must have a flexible personable approach with good people skills customer focused.

In return we offer a very competitive salary, 20 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays in lieu. You will also receive one extra day for each completed year worked to a maximum of 25 days. We also provide full uniform and PPE.
