Job description

We are looking for a very passionate Chef du Partie for a popular gastropub in a village location.

The 70 cover gastropub with expansive outdoor courtyard formerly known as the Forest at Feckenham has changed ownership and undergone extensive refurbishment.

The pub has a bar and separate lounge with bar leading to a more formal dining room. Externally, a patio has been restructured to provide for a more private alfresco dining experience.

A Chef de Partie will report to the Head /Sous Chef. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
  • Preparing meat and fish
  • Assisting with the management of health and safety
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
  • Managing and training any Commis Chefs
  • Monitoring portion and waste control
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: £22,399.00-£25,000.00 per year
