What will you be doing?

As our Jet Vac Tanker Driver/Operative, you will take lead as part of a two-person team, working in and around the Yorkshire and Midlands region, operating a tanker and the high-pressure water jetting equipment on board. Your daily responsibilities will consist of dealing with drainage issues such as blockages, vacuuming flooded areas, and cleansing pipework.

Having existing knowledge of drainage and Jet Vac tankers is required for this role, and having qualifications relating to high-pressure water jetting, working at height, and confined spaces would support your application.

What are we looking for?

  • A full UK Class 2 driving licence.
  • 2 years or more experience in the drainage industry with knowledge of Jet Vac tankers.
  • Strong knowledge of using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
  • Role-specific qualifications such as CSCS, high-pressure water jetting, and first aid at work.
  • Experience using various drainage equipment and tools.
  • Competent in using IT equipment such as a mobile phone or tablet device.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working on the highways network would be advantageous (but not essential).
