Job Purpose

To co-ordinate the daily operations on the contract and delivery of core services*; encompassing resource planning, team performance and safety conformance.

*Core services delivered to clients include (but not limited to): Grounds Maintenance, Arboriculture, Waste management, Pest Control, Winterisation, and Interiors.

Person Specification:

  • Experienced operational team leader or supervisor, ideally obtained within a ground’s maintenance organisation with geographically dispersed teams
  • Demonstrable experience of managing daily client/customer relationships and service delivery
  • Experience of supervising peripatetic teams and planning/implementation daily work schedules accordingly
  • Experience of delivering on the job technical training and coaching
  • Experience of operational asset usage and supervision (e.g., plant, fleet, machinery) within field-based operations

Functional / Technical Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety, IOSH qualified or equivalent
  • Basic IT literacy in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Substantial knowledge of core grounds maintenance activities
