Production and Warehouse Operator

  • Location: Newhouse Farm Industrial Estate, Chepstow
  • Working days: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am to 2pm
  • £12.71 per hour

Temporary ongoing with an opportunity of a permanent job following an open probation period.

Our client is looking to recruit Production/Warehouse Operators for their expanding well established company. The ideal candidate will need previous experience of working in a production and warehouse facility.

Personal Specification: If you do not have specific production experience, but you have worked in a role whereby you have worked with various hand tools or with a stored environment, we would like to hear from you too, as full training is provided.

NOTE:

Travelling to work: -

The client’s location is off the M48 coming off at the roundabout just before the Severn Bridge, so transport is essential unless you are living in the Bulwark/Chepstow location.

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

*To unload, unpack and sort electronic products received into the warehouse and either manually store them into correct location with the use of lifting and handling equipment.

*Assisting with booking items into the goods in location.

* Picking out products from specific warehouse location for disassemble process.

*Manually disassemble products with the use of hand tools and cordless drills for either resale or recycling and store items in correct location.

*Assisting with the cleaning, quality checking and packaging of goods ready to be dispatched to the customers.

*Adhere to all Health & Safety related policies and procedures, including but not limited to PPE, Manual Handling and Safe Working Practices. In addition, you will be responsible for your own safety and that of others.

*Keeping your work area and the goods in warehouse yard tidy by clearing away waste or debris.
