We are currently looking for waste picker to work alongside our dedicated team in our waste management recycling centre. We are a large family run waste disposal and Skip Hire Company based in Leeds, servicing West Yorkshire for over 40 years.

Your duties will involve working as part of a team, assisting with general yard duties in all areas of the areas of the business.

The job entails

  • Waste segregation
  • Working on a picking line
  • Outside Yard work

Please be aware, the Waste Picker is a physical manual position.

This position is a permanent position offering long term stability for the right candidate. The role will consist of sorting recycled materials.

You will be contracted to work 42 ½ hours per week @ £12.71 per hour (minimum wage paid, age appropriate) + overtime paid at time and half. Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18.00 (Saturday mornings)

Optional Weekly / Monthly pay.

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must be reliable, punctual and self-motivated, have a great attitude and strong work ethic, and be honest, capable and confident in your ability.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 42.30 per week
