MagDrill.com, a division of Red Box Manufacturing Ltd, is a reputable and established online store that specializes in providing high-quality Mag Drills, Annular Cutters, and related products. With a history dating back to 2001, Red Box Manufacturing Ltd. has grown to become one of the largest independent stockist of these products in the UK.
The Role
We are seeking an E-commerce Website Administrator to work alongside the E-commerce manager at our store/office based in Bellshill.
You will join a friendly team in this organisation and ideally have good administration skills and an interest in e-commerce/social media and would like to use your skills in a multi-faceted role.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up products on our websites, including writing descriptions, verifying specifications, editing photos and proof reading.
- Create engaging content for social media channels
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our Magento 2 online stores, including but not limited to product listings, pricing, and inventory management.
- Day-to-day administration of third-party marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon, including creating/amending product listings.
- Merchandising of products on the websites, for example ensuring the correct cross-sells/up-sells are displayed in the basket and on-site search results are accurate.
- Monitoring our competitors to ensure that our website, campaigns and pricing are well positioned in the marketplace.
- Take photos of new products and edit for upload
- Troubleshoot website issues and work with E-commerce Manager to implement solutions.
- Create, edit, and optimise website content, including landing pages, images, videos and website hierarchy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to implement new strategies for growth and sales optimization.
- Ensure all content is engaging, SEO-friendly, and aligned with guidelines
Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of ecommerce and a customer-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in Magento 2 platform or similar (Preferred but not required).
- Understanding of product data management, including product categorization, attributes, and taxonomy. (Preferred but not required)
- Experience using email marketing platforms.
- Digital marketing and SEO principles
- Knowledge of photoshop/image editing and graphic design for our social media accounts/websites
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
- Basic photography experience (Preferred but not required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS office applications
- Works well individually and within a team.
- Ability to multi-task
- Good time keeping skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
