Job title: Head of Marketing

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid; the candidate will be required to attend the office two days per week.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing who likes to be creative, has a passion for Higher Education, technology and creating growth.

You will take ownership of the marketing strategy, leading the marketing team to deliver a range of marketing activity for both existing and new contacts from initial concept through to execution, reporting and evaluation.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for implementing and executing the marketing strategy for Solutionpath to increase revenue, secure client retention and expand the use of StREAM across the client base.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Own Solutionpath’s marketing strategy and associated budget

· Manage, inspire and direct a small marketing team

· Lead on brand strategy, development and design, ensuring the brand guidelines are maintained and adhered to across the business

· Build an expert level of knowledge and understanding of the sector, target personas, related themes and become a key spokesperson for the business through content strategy, PR and events

· Communicate key messaging and positioning narratives to inform sales enablement, content strategies, event agendas and lead generation campaigns

· Maintain and build credible partner relations to provide opportunity for exposure in the higher education sector

· Work with the wider product and commercial teams to support Go To Market initiatives, launch new products to the market including the execution of product marketing materials and communication plans

· Maintain a consistent and high-quality marketing operation, ensuring marketing systems and processes are up to date, ISO regulation is adhered to and there are well managed relationships with external suppliers (designers, web developers, marketing automation tools, agencies)

· Monitor, analyse and report on all marketing activity and performance. Use data analytics and insights to optimize future campaigns and inform future direction.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

· A Degree in Marketing, Communications or related subject

· Proven experience in a similar role for at least 2 years

· A keen interest in Higher Education and/or SaaS technology

· Leadership qualities including drive and an ability to make things happen

· Strategic thinker

· A creative flare

· Ability to take the lead on projects and manage a range of stakeholders

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work across different teams in person, online and in writing

· Excellent presenter

· Enjoy working to deadlines and meeting targets

· Experienced in digital marketing and current marketing trends (SEO, marketing automation, lead scoring methodology, omnichannel marketing).

· Experience with a range of marketing channels from digital advertising, video, emails, social media and direct mail

· Proficiency in using marketing tools and CRM systems, experience with Pardot and Salesforce will be an advantage

Salary: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
