To support our expanding Business Systems team, we are looking to recruit a Web Developer.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring requirements are accurately captured and recorded. Pro-actively work with the business in determining requirements. Suggesting potential solutions where requirements are not clearly defined.
- Provide support to end users of the final product(s).
- Assist in the development and maintenance of existing software.
- Be proactive in exploring and incorporating new technologies.
- Developing, testing and deploying code to meet the agreed requirements whilst using best practices for software development.
- Participate in design reviews.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Recent experience with modern web technologies to produce responsive web applications. Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps is desirable.
- Knowledge of relational databases and RESTful APIs.
- The ability to estimate development timescales and produce design documentation.
- The ability to capture & document requirements.
- Knowledge of version control techniques and applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Degree qualified in computer science, games design or an engineering discipline, or suitable demonstrable experience.
