Be a part of the force's expanding Information Services team
Nottinghamshire Police has recently invested in its Information Services team, its people and the structure.
We provide technologies and IT services that directly impact operational policing. From the software that frontline officers require to be able to make decisions on the street, big data and analytics, 999/101 Control Room services, technologies that support digital investigations and everything in between! Information Services is at the heart of it all!
We’re on the hunt for a passionate Junior Application Developer to join our growing team of innovators. What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborating with senior developers and stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy applications (Web, mobile, desktop, integration services etc).
- Working across the full stack: from responsive front-end interfaces to robust back-end services.
- Building APIs, integrating with databases, and contributing to cloud-based solutions.
- Participating in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Learning and growing in a supportive environment that values curiosity and creativity.
What You’ll Bring:
- Solid understanding of C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Vue.js or Blazor.
