We are seeking a Head of Marketing to join our in-house Marketing team.

Reporting to : Commercial Director.

Main duties:

  • Responsibility for the creation, delivery and management of the branding, campaign and communications strategy across the UK and international markets.
  • Develop a long-term plan for the development of the brand, and equity growth.
  • Play an active role in planning and aligning full-mix marketing support to deliver the product and NPD roadmaps.
  • Plan and implement the events and communications calendars across all media including social, web, SMS, email, exhibitions, direct mail, print and collateral in line with market trends and target segmentation.
  • Use structured processes and prioritisation of workloads to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Provide forecasts where required for promotions and exhibitions to support the demand plan to facilitate Supply Chain management and meet deadlines.
  • Line and performance manage the marketing team, including Digital, eCommerce, Events and Social, eCommerce operations.
  • Work closely with the Design, Product, and Sales teams to create and deliver campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor, review and report on performance of all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Efficiently manage annual marketing budgets.
  • Negotiate with and manage external agencies and printers where required for advertising, video, web development, POS, merchandise, collateral, exhibitions etc.
  • Responsibility for the revenue growth of the eCommerce site.
  • Responsibility for market relevant and compliant copy creation and brand guidelines.
  • Performance optimisation of the website and social across key metrics.
  • Report performance on targets and KPIs.
  • Follow standards for professionalism, best-practice, and continual improvement.
  • Work interdepartmentally to champion brands, categories and customer experience excellence.

Role Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Communications, or a Business Management related subject.
  • At least 5 years’ work experience within a marketing department and at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Experience in brand strategy and up-to-date marketing tactics.
  • Creative aptitude.
  • Understanding of analytics, social media and website platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills; good spelling and grammar.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Positive and flexible in a fast paced environment.
