Full job description

Front End Developer (Angular + PHP)
In-House – UK Based | Full Time

About Us
The Lettings Hub is a fast-growing prop-tech innovator in the UK lettings space. We’re on a mission to simplify the rental process through beautifully designed, intuitive digital products. Our tools are used by letting agents, landlords, and tenants across the UK—and we’re just getting started.

We’re now looking for a talented Front End Developer with strong Angular and PHP experience to join our ambitious tech team. If you’ve got a sharp eye for clean, scalable code and an instinct for great UI/UX, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll work at the heart of our product development—shaping the future of our web applications, enhancing user experience, and building responsive, high-performance interfaces. This is a hands-on, creative role with plenty of scope to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain robust Angular-based front ends with clean, well-structured TypeScript
  • Translate Figma designs and product ideas into responsive, interactive interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with the product, design, and back-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Optimise performance for fast load times and smooth interaction
  • Ensure consistent implementation of brand and design standards across the platform
  • Stay on top of emerging front-end technologies and best practices
  • Review and provide feedback on front-end work across the team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience with Angular, TypeScript, PHP, HTML5, and CSS3
  • A passion for design and clean, component-driven front-end architecture
  • Solid back-end understanding, ideally with experience in Laravel or similar PHP frameworks
  • Comfortable working with MySQL or SQL Server
  • A good grasp of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Experience working with Figma and translating designs into code
  • Familiar with version control tools (we use Git)
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points

  • Experience in UI performance tuning
  • Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks
  • Previous experience in a SaaS or PropTech environment

Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a supportive, fast-moving team building meaningful products that make a real difference to people’s lives. We value creativity, autonomy, and craftsmanship—and we’re serious about tech done right.

About the Team

As a Prop-Tech business, we are always looking to the future. What can we be doing next to ensure Letting Agents jobs are made quicker and easier, tenants have a smoother journey and landlords have piece of mind? So, although we have over 100+ years of industry experience across the team, we are not stuck in the past.

The only way to achieve this is having great people, but also a great environment at work. This is why we prioritise wellbeing and culture and ensure all of our colleagues have the space to share ideas and grow with the business. We have quarterly awards to celebrate together as a whole team, a free snack station for those afternoons only chocolate will help and monthly challenges set by the CEO that brings the competitive side out of all of us!!

If you think this is the type of environment you would thrive in, make sure to apply
