Junior Graphic Designer required for a well-established orthodontic and dental supply company. This is a great opportunity to join a family company based on the outskirts of Bristol.

Established for over 30 years, TOC have a strong presence in the market offering one of the largest ranges of orthodontic products in the UK. Their excellent reputation is based on building strong relationships with the orthodontic profession providing quality products and great customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping drive the creative direction of campaigns, an understanding of typography, layout, and art direction will be needed to help the team produce the best work possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and creative graphic designer to join a growing, people focused business where you can develop your own portfolio within an ever-expanding sector. This is a chance to develop your design skills across multiple brands and projects including website design, print design, logo design, events and asset creation for sales and marketing.

The specific details of the role will vary, but common activities include:

· Brochure layout and production.

· Design for print products such as flyers, adverts and other promotional materials.

· Design packaging and other material for own brand identities.

· Producing attractive and effective designs for all media.

· Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas.

· Communicating with marketing manager to receive feedback.

· Liaising effectively with sales team and other departments.

· Managing website CMS and creating graphics for social media.

· Managing print literature and stock levels, including sourcing and communication with

printers and customer services.

· Produce exhibition graphics when required.

· Maintain product image library, including web-optimised images.

Required skills

Essential Requirements:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop. After Effects

and XD a bonus but not essential.

· A background of working as part of a design team.

· The ability to see projects through from inception to production.

· Creative flair and excellent attention to detail.

· Consistency regardless of project size.

· Good organisational skills.

· Open to receiving and actively seek feedback.

· Open and transparent when tracking time on projects.

· Basic photography/videography skills inc After Effects a bonus.

· Confidence in producing, preparing and creating final PDF’s for print.

· Confidence liaising and collaborating with multiple internal departments.

· Knowledge of standard print processes and web optimisation preferred.

· Experience in packaging design, branding, social media/e-shot campaigns required.

· The ability to work on multiple projects and manage workload accordingly.

Desirable requirements:

Some orthodontic and dental industry experience will be advantageous.

Basic knowledge of motion graphics advantageous.

Working Hours

Part time initially Wednesday-Friday (22.5 hrs) with a view to becoming Full time.

Office based - Bristol

Salary

£22,000 - £25,000 pro rata depending on experience
