Marketing & Digital Co-ordinator

This hands-on marketing role offers variety across digital, creative, and events activities. You’ll manage campaigns, create engaging content, and contribute ideas to marketing initiatives.

SHS is an established, family-owned business with over 25 years of expertise in the design, supply, and maintenance of materials handling equipment. Our range covers a variety of equipment, but our core products are Manual Pallet Trucks, Electric Pallet Trucks/Stackers/Pickers, and Aluminium Sack Trucks. We pride ourselves on offering our customers a complete end-to-end solution. Based at our HQ in Buckingham, we’re looking for a proactive Marketing & Digital Co-ordinator to join our friendly, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities / Your focus:

Digital & Content

  • Manage social media across LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube; planning, creating content, writing captions, and scheduling posts.
  • Act as the main editor for our website (Odoo); updating product pages, uploading blogs, and maintaining site accuracy (training provided).
  • Create and send email campaigns via Mailchimp or our CRM, managing mailing lists to keep SHS front of mind.
  • Monitor digital performance, producing simple reports to improve engagement and guide marketing decisions.

Creative & Marketing Support

  • Produce marketing materials such as product sheets, flyers and presentations using Microsoft Office, Canva, or Adobe Suite, following brand guidelines.
  • Support internal and external communications, including events and content for the SHS Knowledge Hub.
  • Manage branded promotional items and exhibition materials.
  • Undertake basic graphic and video editing as required.

Events & Market Insight

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of on-site events and off-site trade shows.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activity, sharing brief updates with the team.
  • Collect and compile customer feedback through surveys to support service improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent written English, with the ability to turn technical information into clear, engaging content.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident with digital platforms. Experience with social media, Mailchimp, and websites (Odoo), or marketing automation is an advantage.
  • A relevant marketing qualification or equivalent experience. Most importantly, you are proactive, enthusiastic, and enjoy working in a small busy marketing team.

Hours of work

· Part-time @ 20 hours a week (salary £28k-£33k pro rata)

· Hybrid / flexible working times available after successful probation (6 months).
