Full job description

A varied, hands-on creative role with graphic design at its heart.

We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer & Digital Content Executive to join our team and help shape how our brands and products are presented across packaging, ecommerce, marketing, events and social media.

This is a hands-on creative role with graphic design at its heart. You’ll work on everything from new product packaging and ecommerce graphics to exhibition signage and marketing campaigns, while also helping bring our brands to life through engaging social media content, photography and video.

We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for design and detail who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is keen to contribute their own creative ideas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Graphic Design & Packaging

A major part of the role will be developing and maintaining the visual identity of our products and brands. You’ll:

  • Design and develop product packaging, labels and product artwork across a variety of ranges.
  • Create new packaging concepts and adapt existing designs for new products, variations and ranges.
  • Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork and liaise with printers, packaging manufacturers and other suppliers where required.
  • Ensure consistency across product ranges and maintain established brand identities.
  • Create artwork for new product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Design printed marketing materials including brochures, leaflets, point-of-sale materials and promotional literature.
  • Produce artwork for trade shows and events, including signage, banners, exhibition graphics and promotional materials.
  • Support the wider business with day-to-day graphic design requirements.

Ecommerce & Digital Design

You’ll work closely with our ecommerce team to ensure our products are presented at their best online. This will include:

  • Creating engaging product imagery and supporting graphics for ecommerce.
  • Producing product feature graphics, promotional imagery, website banners and campaign assets.
  • Editing and retouching product photography.
  • Developing creative assets to support new product launches and online promotions.
  • Ensuring visual consistency across our ecommerce channels.
  • Design engaging email marketing campaigns and supporting creative assets for platforms such as Mailchimp, ensuring emails are visually consistent with our brands, products and wider marketing campaigns.

Social Media & Content Creation

Alongside your core design responsibilities, you’ll play an active role in developing creative content for our social media channels. You’ll:

  • Help develop ideas for showcasing our products and brands through social content.
  • Create a mixture of graphics, photography and video content.
  • Film and edit short-form video content for social media.
  • Edit footage, imagery, graphics, captions and audio into polished, engaging content.
  • Create content around product launches, promotions, events and seasonal campaigns.
  • Capture product, lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Repurpose existing photography, video and design assets into fresh social content.
  • Keep an eye on relevant social media trends, formats and creative styles and identify opportunities for our brands.
  • Work with the ecommerce and wider team to ensure content supports current campaigns and commercial activity.

What We’re Looking For

First and foremost, we’re looking for a strong graphic designer who can demonstrate excellent creative ability and attention to detail. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating commercial design work.
  • Experience in packaging or product design, or a strong desire to develop within this area.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • A good understanding of typography, colour, composition and brand consistency.
  • Experience preparing artwork for professional print.
  • Strong image editing and retouching skills.
  • Experience creating graphics and digital assets for websites or ecommerce.
  • An interest in social media and digital content creation.
  • Experience filming and editing video using software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar would be highly desirable.
  • Photography or videography experience would be an advantage.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • The confidence to take a project from initial brief and concept through to finished artwork.

About You
You’re someone who loves good design and notices the small details.

You’ll be comfortable working within established brand identities, but you’ll also be willing to introduce new ideas and challenge how things could look better.

You’ll enjoy the variety of working across different types of creative projects. One day you might be developing packaging for a new product range, the next producing imagery for an ecommerce launch, creating signage for an upcoming event, or filming and editing content for social media.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to create, not just execute briefs. We want someone who can bring ideas to the table and help us continually improve how our brands and products look across every customer touchpoint.

Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to take on a genuinely varied creative role where your work will be highly visible across the business.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across physical products, packaging, ecommerce, events, marketing and social media, seeing projects move from an initial idea through to something customers interact with in the real world.

If you’re a graphic designer looking for a role that goes beyond sitting behind a screen producing the same type of artwork every day, we’d love to hear from you.

Application Deadline
Applications for this role close on Friday 13th November.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Bereavement leave
  • Canteen
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free parking
  • Health & wellbeing programme
