About Toolchimp
THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE (Colchester) - We are in a remote location and a driving license is essential.
Toolchimp is a trusted name in the tools and equipment industry, serving professionals and DIY enthusiasts across the UK through our website toolchimp.co.uk. As we grow, we’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Web Designer to join our team in Earls Colne, Essex. If you have a passion for design and coding, and experience with Magento, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Design and maintain a visually appealing, user-friendly website that reflects our brand identity.
- Create and implement design layouts, banners, and other digital assets.
- Collaborate with our marketing and e-commerce teams to improve the online customer experience.
- Work with Magento to customize themes, templates, and extensions.
- Ensure our website is optimized for both desktop and mobile users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues promptly.
What We're Looking For:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven experience as a web designer, preferably with e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Magento is highly desirable.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your web design and coding skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-notch user experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
