About the role - DFYNE Your Career:

First off, it’s best I introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here), because I feel it’s important to meet the person you’re likely to be working with for a long time. I’m Oscar the Founder/CEO of DFYNE and I’m looking for a Front-End Developer who gets that we do things very differently around here, gets that typical “off the shelf” systems usually don’t cut it for us, and naturally, is excited by the prospect by either extending functionality of existing components or of building something completely from scratch! I’m not going to lie to you, we’re hard workers, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve things, and are always trying to become more efficient and push to the next level. So, naturally we expect our IT systems and processes to keep up! I need someone who isn’t looking for an easy ride, is excited by the challenge building, maintaining, and developing our own systems presents, but who also has the confidence to explain clearly why something might not be doable.

(That’s our way of saying this job will need someone who listens to us, gets sh!t done, isn’t scared of a challenge, and isn’t afraid to tell us if we’re looking for a unicorn!)

The main guy building and looking after all this at the moment is Rom, so although I’ll have input on a day-to-day basis, you’ll primarily be working with Rom.
