We are excited to announce the growth of our busy ecommerce team. Over the last few years online business has rocketed for us, and we are continually launching more and more product in our stores and digital channels and this role plays a big part in streamlining this important area of ecommerce.

Role Overview

The role is varied and very hands on. With a focus based on all the work involved in getting new product to web. Such as product-to-web, optimising our product sorting, menu structures, ensuring smooth and accurate pricing and promotional discounting. We run on other marketplaces in addition to our own website, and taking care of these and keeping them up to date with price changes, stock and new product is also a large part of the role.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, take ownership of their work, be target driven and conduct tasks with dedication and care. In particular a high level of attention to detail and organisation of time and priorities is a must.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and implementing price changes in our ERP and CMS.

- Ensuring marketplace pricing is kept inline with any changes made on our own site.

- Setting up timed promotions including special offers, sales and code offers.

- Ensuring swift product-to-web along with product content and organisation. This includes working up info panels such as dimensions images for products as well as written content and specifications.

- Product sort ordering/merchandising

- Category maintenance and ensuring our category landing pages and structure are best practice for UX and navigation.

- Design and implementation of onsite graphics/assets etc.

- You are fast and efficient using Excel for manipulating, cross referencing and populating data,

- Super-organised, you will be able to prioritise work based on urgency, impact to business, size of the task and so on.

- You’re a checker, a double checker and a triple checker. You are not satisfied until you’ve found mistakes and fixed them.

- You understand retail. You know how important it is for a retailer’s operations to have product data that can be relied upon, and how bad it looks to our customers when it’s wrong.

- You have some experience in a retail back office environment handling product data and working in back office systems that integrate with each other and public facing platforms (such as a website).

- You have some experience using a website CMS.

Pay: £22,425.00 per year
