Fanatic Design Team Overview

While most design is focused on digital and Web design, as a team we also complete branding projects, to deliver an end to end service creating websites that combine a powerful brand communication with great UX.

Our websites often feature complex user journeys, as they frequently blend into bespoke web app builds, to deliver functionality beyond the usual website templates.

We also create a variety of digital content such as animated infographics and typography, video post production and 3D graphics.

We deliver printed materials also where required.

About this role

We are looking for another Digitally focussed graphic & web designer to join our in house team.

Our designers need to be great client communicators, as we all present work and take feedback, as well as support on testing and QA.

We are looking for someone with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to create an original idea, and the ability to understand a marketing message and how it could be communicated.

The role involves a fundamental understanding of digital UX and website design, as this accounts for the majority of the work we produce.

We are currently looking for a designer with at least two to three year's commercial studio experience in web design, UX and Graphic Design, as part of an agency.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptual creativity [25%]

• Creating ideas that communicate marketing messages

Digital & UX design [50%]

• Taking concepts into working designs across digital and print, especially to retain brand personality and originality of design while delivering the optimal UX

Site /design production [25%]

• Rolling out designs in Figma with all breakpoints, artworking with realistic content, and QA of site builds against the designs. Communication with clients and wider team to support this.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Creating original ideas, to a tight brief
• Work well in a team, being generous with ideas and willing to give and take feedback
• Creative Suite especially Illustrator for concepting branding
• Strong Figma (or ability to learn quickly) as our core platform
• Great UX skills
• Attention to detail
• Great communicator with team, management and clients

Desirable

• Any animation / after effects
• Video post production
• 3D
• Brand positioning workshop experience
• Technical (Wordpress) understanding to help handover with developers

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
